I'm back and I have a freebie!  We all seem to be settling in to the school routine and so far, everyone likes school and is excited to go.  Last year was such a difficult time for my son that I did not want school to start this year.   Having a good teacher makes all the difference.  Also, Friday is my last day at the job that sucks the life out of me.  I really enjoy my other job (yes, I have been working two jobs- needless to say why my blog has suffered) and so my stress level should go way down and maybe some of my creativity will come back.  I hope.  I went out to lunch today with some old friends and tomorrow I am spending the day with my best friend Doreen.  She always lifts my spirits.  Hope you enjoy the freebie and don't forget to check out the rest of the Mocha Me Happy kit in my store.  Is anyone else addicted to America's Got Talent?!  Results show on tonight.  Something the whole family can watch together.

Back to school!  Mama is doing the happy dance! Both kids had a great day and I like their teachers this year.  Having a good teacher makes all the difference.  I almost pulled my son out and homeschooled last year.  I made a page of the first day of school (of course) of my daughter.  Turned out pretty cute just like her.

Hope things are going well.  My daughter is at horse back riding camp for two days.  She loves to ride.  We are trying to get things ready for school next week and I have to work this evening at my job I really enjoy.  My other job I get physically ill just knowing I have to go.  Hopefully not much longer.  It is nice to have a job but when you dislike it as much as I do, it is time to move on.  I have to get a few details in line first before I can give my notice.  Here is a freebie paper and clip to my Mocha Me Happy kit.  I hope to get the kit in my store this week.

Finally, I finished the kit I have been struggling with.  Not sure why I struggled so much but I did challenge myself with the color scheme.  Apparently no one wanted to do a "name that kit" contest.  How can I expect you to be motivated when I haven't been.  Sooo... I let my daughter name it and I think it is cute.  So presenting Mocha Me Happy!  I do love mochas so much.  I will get it in my store soon plus a matching alpha.  Please let me know if you like it. 

I couldn't sleep last night so I got up and made an alpha for my Madeline kit.  I am giving it away as a freebie.  It has been so long since I have given one I want to make it up to all of you for being patient with me this summer.  School starts next week and I'm also hoping to have a change in my work status so more time to design.  Don't forget to check in my store for the rest of the Madeline collection.  Have a great week.

Did you think I had fallen off the face of the earth?!  Just summer happened.  I had a conference to go to, picked up extra work (actually working 16 hours today) and having fun with my kids.  Yesterday I did absolutely nothing except play in the pool, play with my children, play on facebook and read my book.  Did I tell you I am also a farm town addict.  I am reading Julie and Julia.  Hope to finish it before the movie comes out.  It is pretty good.  Oh, I did make a deliciously scrumptious dinner of stuffed cabbage rolls and chocolate chip bread for dessert. This wasn't inspired by the book but by my dear friend Doreen who can whip up a fantastic dish from whatever she has in her fridge. 

 Only three more weeks until school starts.  Mama is ready!!  I haven't done any designing lately but I have been learning some new things.  Hopefully I can put the knowledge to good use soon.  I miss my blog!  Thank you all you faithful followers.  I am really struggling with this new kit.  I can't come up with a name that fits.  I have all the papers done but can't find the right direction to go with the elements.  Anybody up for a name that kit contest???  Let me know!  Have a great day!

I love my new furniture!! It is sooo comfy womfy.  Now I need to get off of it and get some things done.  I have almost finished another kit, unsure what to call it.  Also, I will post another freebie soon!  I promise. 

The other day I was trying to explain karma to my son.  (why I don't know) I asked him if he knew what it was and he replied, "Isn't that the stuff you put on your lips?"  hee hee (carmex)  My kids are a hoot.  After that we went on to something else.  Karma on another day. 

It has been a crazy week.  Are there ever people who really disappoint you?  The same people over and over.  It has been one of those weeks.  The kids went to the dentist today and yea!! no cavities.  My son has to have blood work in the morning (not fun) and the dog has to have his sutures taken out.  The floor is down in the living room, painting done and furniture will be delivered in the afternoon.  Still need the trim to be done. I need a vacation from my life.
